I have a ghost lurking in my basement,
It turns my lights on, for rude amusement.

I’ve tried to ignore this little ghost,
The lower level, seems to be his or her host.

My husband frequently warns: “You left the lights on again,”
In my own behalf, I plead: “In the basement……I have not been!”

So why do these lights, suddenly appear?
I turn them off, and the next day…….they re-appear!

It’s freaking me out, to say the least,
I just hope my little ghost, is a friendly beast!
